The debosser is the reverse of a traditional embosser. Instead of pressing a design into the surface, it raises or elevates the chosen design. This tool is primarily used for fondant decorations and leaves a raised impression of the image. The impression height typically ranges between 1.0mm to 2.0mm, with some designs leaving a subtle impression around 0.5mm to 1mm high, depending on the detail involved in the design. Please note that the debosserĀ is not recommended for use with cookie dough, only fondant. The debossing tool is crafted from 3mm or 4.5mm cast acrylic, with the acrylic height chosen based on our discretion and available materials.
Please note this style is not designed explicitly for two-toning. Though some design will allow you to achieve the effect.Ā
